RULES TO BE OBSERVED
It is advisable for the couple to fast or eat sattvic food on the day of homam. Distributing milk, fruits or butter to small children after the completion of homam will quickly please Swami. If possible performing gopuja or feeding grass to a cow on this day gives extra merit.
