About This Puja

The most effective puja to get protection from the wrath of Lord Shani and to reduce the severity of Shani doshas in the horoscope is "Shani Shanti Puja". This puja is usually performed when Shani is in the first day, Ashtama Shani, or Arthashtama Shani is in the middle of the day.

Here are the complete details regarding this puja:

Importance of Shani Shanti Puja

God Shani is the "Karma Phala Pradatara". He gives results according to the actions we take. This Shanti process is necessary to get relief from the obstacles, financial difficulties and health problems caused by the influence of Shani.

Benefits of Puja

  • Progress in career and business: Problems at work are eliminated and stability is achieved.
  • Prevention of financial difficulties: Unnecessary expenses are reduced and there is freedom from the burden of debt.
  • Mental peace: Relief from unnecessary fears and stress.
  • Health improvement: The severity of chronic health problems is reduced.

Important materials required for puja

Black is the most beloved colour to Lord Shani. The following are mainly used in puja:

  • Black sesame seeds (important)
  • Sesame oil (for lamp worship and anointing)
  • Black cloth
  • Sapphire or black flowers
  • Sami tree saplings (Jammi tree shoots)

Puja Process

  • Sankalpa: Reciting the Sankalpa for the prevention of Jataka Dosha and for the well-being of the family.
  • Tailabhishekam: It is very important to anoint the idol or Yantra of Shani with sesame oil.
  • Navagraha Puja: Worshipping the other planets along with Lord Shani.
  • Shani Ashtottaram: Reciting the 108 names of Lord Shani and performing the Archana with black sesame seeds.

Mantra chanting: "Om pram preem praum sah sanaishcharaya namah" or

"Neelanjana samabhasam raviputram yamagrajam | chayamarthanda sambhuta tam namami sanaishcharam ||"

Donation: After the puja, donating black clothes, sesame, oil or iron to the poor or Brahmins reduces the severity of the dosha.

When and where to do it?

  • Day: Saturday is the most auspicious day for this puja. It is even more special to do it on the day of Shani Trayodashi.
  • Place: It can be done at home or it is best to perform it in Shani kshetras (for example: Mandapalli, Shani Shingnapur).

A small hint: Lord Shani loves discipline. So along with worship, helping others without cheating anyone will quickly bring Shani's blessings.

This Homam puja phal is performed by the affiliated priests in a traditional, pure manner, exclusively online in the name of the devotees. The video recording of the complete Homam is sent to the devotees' WhatsApp.
